Care Fraters et Sorores:
Mistrust those who would try to sell you That which is not for sale!
Entertain no belief in the unscrupulous con artist who attaches a price to spiritual development!
Run from any individual or group that promises to sell you an easy way to spiritual and intellectual attainment!
Allow no one, man or woman, to convince you that they are representing the Highest while their hands are outstretched for money!
Let no one snare you with promises of quick magical advancement that can be bought! The A.·.A.·. is not for sale! There has been in the past and are now in the present certain individuals who falsely claim to be members of the A.·.A.·., individuals who do not even Understand the nature of that great Order. The fact that this misleads those aspirants and students and profanes the name of that great Order is bad enough, but be warned! Association with such individuals will not only lead you away from the True Path [Atrekes Atrapos] which leads to the Knowledge and Conversation of the Holy Guardian Angel and the eventual Union with the Silver Star, not only may it ruin your magical career and bar you forever from the true Order that these unscrupulous individuals falsely claim to represent, but such an association just may bring you down entirely when the Secret Chiefs crush such 'false prophets' and phoney masters. And be assured, they will be crushed. Remember, ours is "a god of War and of Vengeance" and He "shall deal hardly with them"!
If you have been contacted and told that your Probationary period which is not to last less than one year can be reduced to a few weeks or less ...
If you are asked to pay fees and dues ...
If you are told that for an initial fee of, say, $100, you will be admitted into the A.·.A.· ....
It is not the A.·.A.·. that has contacted you! The original and true O.T.O. charged fees and demanded dues, but this was proper as it was a temporal order and a part of its purpose was to gain political and financial power in the world. Thus any pseudo-o.t.o. can get away with demanding fees and dues.
However, the real A.·.A.·. is a supernal order and the Chiefs of that Order do not ... DO NOT ... ask for or demand money from aspirants. There are no fees, initial or otherwise, and there are no dues. True, money may be needed from time to time for practical reasons, but it is not obtained by demanding payment for initiation. All initiation is, anyway, essentially self-initiation, so why would you pay someone to do for you what only you can do for yourself?
If someone approaches you, promises an easy and quick way to obtain the grades of the A.·.A.·., if you are asked to pay fees or dues for membership which may or may not be disguised in some way, the person representing him- or herself as a member of that Order is not a member of the A.·.A.·. and you should shun that individual as a pestilence for surely continued contact will infect you and when that person is stricken with finality you too may be stricken and cast forever into the Abyss to be torn apart and devoured by that mighty devil Choronzon.
Love is the law, love under will. Witness my hand,
